Now there is a non-medicinal, non-invasive way to successfully improve brain function in many areas – from sleep to peak performance. Using amplified, computer-displayed continuous EEG feedback from your own brain, you can directly train your brainwaves for more efficient and flexible functioning. Your brain learns to adapt its own brainwaves to the best level of brainwave function for a particular function in a particular area of the brain. Neurofeedback is an established field, which is currently exploding with new research and practice-based findings
Nancy has been practicing Neurofeedback since 2003, primarily for her Fear of Public Speaking clients.Usually requiring 20 sessions or more to change a particular function, the results will hold with a possible need for occasional brief tune ups of a few sessions.
Nancy offers Neurofeedback training for the following functions:
- Concentration
- Reduction of ADD/ADHD symptoms
- Relaxation and regulation of tension levels
- Peak Performance
Nancy can also work with other Neurofeedback providers in Boston who can treat her clients for additional problems such as Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Headaches and Pain Management, Addictions and Elder Mental Fitness, Traumatic Brain Injury, to name a few.
If you, like many who experience fear of public speaking or stage fright, tend to have a high level of tension on a daily basis, neurofeedback may be able to help you lower your tension level permanently.
